Teachers from across Georgia converged on the campus of Georgia State University during their summer break to attend GCEE’s 4th Annual K5E3 event. This collaboration between the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and GCEE had a singular purpose: to help teachers learn how to teach economic and personal finance standards more effectively. Conference attendees described their experiences as amazing, informative, and transformative. Participants said they were eager to attend future GCEE events and implement the new strategies and resources they took away from the event in their classrooms. The enthusiasm and positive feedback reflected the conference’s success in supporting economic education for teachers.
