High school teachers from across the country came to Atlanta this summer for an innovative summer institute sponsored by Georgia-Pacific. Participants spent three days learning about economic concepts including opportunity cost, specialization, free enterprise, monetary and fiscal policy, entrepreneurship, and international trade. Highlights of the institute included visits to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the UPS Smart Hub, the Waffle House Museum, and the Center for Civil and Human Rights.
