GCEE in L.A.
Georgia was well represented at the Council for Economic Education’s Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference in Los Angeles, CA last week. GCEE staff was joined by four outstanding high school teachers, two Center Directors, and an Atlanta Fed education specialist. Members of this group presented sessions on the economy of Cuba, investing in human capital, fiscal responsibility, and project-based learning. Everyone in the group came away from the conference with new strategies and materials that will be used to help teach students and teachers in innovative ways.
