The Georgia Council on Economic Education celebrated its 50th Anniversary on September 13th at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta with a large group of friends, funders, board members and teachers.  Event highlights included opening remarks from Dr. Raphael Bostic, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, a brief history of the Georgia Council from Executive Director Mike Raymer, a speech from former Econ Teacher of the Year Vanessa Ellis, and a look into the next 50 years with Chris Cannon and Angie Battle.
