Congratulations to Stacy Dockter from DeSana Middle School (Forsyth County) for being selected as a 2023 John Morton Excellence in Economic Education Award winner. The award, sponsored by the Council for Economic Education, recognizes three teachers each year who use exemplary teaching techniques that improve their students’ economic understanding, in and out of the classroom.

When asked how GCEE has helped her along her educational journey, Stacy had this to say, “GCEE has been an invaluable resource in terms of improving my personal economic literacy and providing me with rigorous, hands-on, standards-based lessons to use with students. I enthusiastically recommend their workshops to all teachers, new and veteran, as they are truly outstanding!”
